1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to The Giant Movers. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our moving, packing, and storage services ("Services") provided by The Giant Movers, operating in the United Arab Emirates ("UAE"). By engaging with our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, which constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client" or "You") and The Giant Movers. Please read these Terms carefully before confirming any service agreement.

2. Definitions

  • The Giant Movers: Refers to the moving and relocation company operating in the UAE.
  • Client: The individual or entity engaging The Giant Movers' Services.
  • Services: Comprehensive moving, packing, unpacking, furniture disassembly/assembly, and storage solutions provided by The Giant Movers.
  • Goods: All items, belongings, and property belonging to the Client that are subject to the Services.
  • Quotation: The estimated cost for Services provided by The Giant Movers to the Client.
  • UAE: United Arab Emirates, including all its Emirates such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, etc.

3. Scope of Services

The Giant Movers offers a wide range of relocation services, including but not limited to:

  • Residential Moving (Apartments, Villas) within the UAE.
  • Commercial and Office Relocation within the UAE.
  • International Moving services from the UAE.
  • Professional Packing and Unpacking services.
  • Furniture Disassembly and Reassembly.
  • Secure Storage Solutions.
  • Specialty Item Moving (e.g., pianos, artwork, fragile items).

Specific details of the Services to be provided for each Client will be outlined in the individual Quotation or Service Agreement.

4. Quotations and Pricing

All Quotations provided by The Giant Movers are based on the information provided by the Client and are valid for a period of [e.g., 7-14 days] from the date of issue. The final cost of Services may vary if there are significant changes to the volume of Goods, access conditions, additional services requested, or unforeseen circumstances at the time of the move. Any variations will be communicated to the Client promptly.

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information regarding the Goods, access conditions, and any specific requirements.
  • Ensure all items not being moved are clearly separated.
  • Be present or have an authorized representative present during the entire moving process.
  • Ensure that all necessary permits or approvals from building management or community authorities in the UAE are obtained prior to the move date.
  • Make timely payments as per the agreed terms.

6. The Giant Movers' Responsibilities

The Giant Movers agrees to:

  • Perform Services with professional care and skill.
  • Protect the Client's Goods to the best of its ability using appropriate packing materials and techniques.
  • Adhere to agreed schedules and timelines, subject to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Provide trained and experienced personnel for the Services.
  • Communicate any changes or issues promptly.

7. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your Quotation or Service Agreement. Generally, a [e.g., 20-30%] deposit may be required upon confirmation of the booking, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the Services or as otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur additional charges as specified in the Quotation.

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Clients may cancel or reschedule Services by providing written notice to The Giant Movers. Cancellation or rescheduling fees may apply, particularly if notice is given within [e.g., 48-72 hours] of the scheduled move date. Details of such fees will be provided in the Quotation.

9. Insurance and Liability

The Giant Movers carries standard liability insurance for damage or loss of goods during transit, as per UAE regulations. Details of this coverage and any limitations are available upon request. Clients are encouraged to arrange for additional comprehensive insurance coverage for their valuable items, especially for international moves, as The Giant Movers' liability may be limited.

10. Claims for Loss or Damage

Any claims for loss or damage to Goods must be submitted to The Giant Movers in writing within [e.g., 7 days] of the completion of the Services. Claims must be accompanied by relevant documentation and photographic evidence. The Giant Movers will investigate all claims diligently.

11. Storage Services (If Applicable)

Specific terms and conditions apply to storage services, including duration, access, and liability. These will be detailed in a separate storage agreement. Clients using our secure storage facilities in Dubai agree to adhere to these supplementary terms.

12. International Moving Specifics

For international relocation services, the Client acknowledges that additional customs regulations, import duties, and taxes may apply at the destination country. The Giant Movers will provide guidance; however, compliance with international regulations and payment of any associated fees remain the Client's responsibility.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai, UAE.

14. Force Majeure

The Giant Movers shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, natural disasters, epidemics, or government actions.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the specific Quotation or Service Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between the Client and The Giant Movers regarding the Services and supersede all prior communications, understandings, and agreements, whether oral or written.
